Created during the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, this Nike campaign celebrated grassroots football culture across Australia and New Zealand, using community storytelling to broaden the idea of what victory looks like in women’s sport.
Working with Amplify, I contributed as a UGC researcher, sourcing video content that matched the visual tone and emotional texture of the footage captured by the production team. The role involved reviewing large volumes of community-generated material, identifying clips that felt authentic and visually aligned, and helping shape a campaign built around real moments of joy, participation and belonging within the football community.

Additional Information: Working with Contented on Cricket Actually, an England and Wales Cricket Board-sponsored documentary exploring contemporary cricket culture, I developed and delivered a comprehensive casting and research strategy to uncover authentic, diverse voices across England and Wales.
The role involved crafting and amplifying social media callouts, targeted outreach to cricket communities and influencers, and extensive online and on-the-ground research, including attending matches and engaging directly with players and fans. I conducted in-depth video interviews, including sensitive conversations around experiences of discrimination, and assembled detailed research decks to support editorial development. The process combined strategic thinking, community engagement and a strong focus on inclusivity, helping shape a film rooted in real stories and lived experience.

Additional Information: Created during Summer 2020 lockdown, this playful campaign for Dove’s tanning range responded to the surreal ways people were seeking sunshine during confinement. My role involved sourcing a mix of user-generated content, existing photography and stock imagery of people sunbathing in odd places and unexpected positions, helping shape the playful visual language of the film.
The job included running a social media callout, carrying out thorough visual research, and reaching out to both photographers and featured contributors to negotiate licensing fees, secure rights, and conduct simple background checks.

My Role: Real People Casting Researcher
Additional Information: UK casting researcher on an Xbox documentary exploring diversity within gaming culture and the role gaming can play in offering connection, escapism and support for young people navigating serious health conditions.
The process was thoughtful and inclusive, combining social media callouts with targeted outreach to potential contributors, charities and relevant support groups. I conducted in-depth interviews with all pre-selected contributors, approaching each conversation with sensitivity and care.
I ultimately cast Megan, an inspiring 23-year-old Scottish doctor living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, balancing an active life of surfing and running with the realities of managing a chronic condition, including being tube-fed.

Additional Information: Created during the first lockdown, this film for Battersea Dogs & Cats Home celebrated the companionship rescue pets were offering during a moment of national uncertainty, while supporting the charity’s wider campaign to challenge misconceptions around rehoming and encourage adoption.
Working with FCB Inferno, I helped source and review user-generated material showing rescue dogs and cats supporting their owners through daily lockdown life, from home working to exercise and moments of comfort. The role involved visual research, contributor outreach and rights clearances, helping shape a film built around warmth, authenticity and the everyday personality of rescue animals.

Additional Information: Created amid the Black Lives Matter protests, this film for Vaseline responded to a pivotal cultural moment by centring real voices and lived experience, while reflecting the brand’s wider efforts to address gaps in skin health education for darker skin tones.
Working with Fresh Film, I helped source and secure existing images of Black and brown expectant mothers across the United States, contributing to a campaign built around authenticity, renewal and the idea of America being reborn. The project involved sensitive outreach, contributor research and reviewing user-generated material.
